ElderflowerWine/jpeg

All equipment and ingredients (except elderflowers, sugar and water!) you need to make six bottles of superb elderflower wine!

Simple and easy to make! Excellent to drink! Full instructions included!

Just collect 3 ounces (about ¾ pint by volume) of elderflowers, and buy 3½lb of ordinary sugar. Everything else you need to make six bottles of superb elderflower wine - even the bottles, corks and shrink caps - is in this pack!

All the equipment, and a lot of the ingredients, can be used for your future wine-making. (Including any of the range of kits we offer, if you don't want to collect your own ingredients next time!) This offer includes:

  • Two plastic 1 gallon jars (to make it in)
  • Yeast
  • Yeast nutrient (for a healthy and active yeast)
  • 7 inch funnel with strainer (to strain the 'juice' into the gallon jar)
  • Tannin (to give the wine character and fullness)
  • Syphon tube (to fill the bottles)
  • Six green wine bottles
  • Citric acid (to give the wine 'bite')
  • Tartaric acid (to bring out the full flavour)
  • Shrink Capsules (12) (to give a professional look to the top of the bottle)
  • Wine bottle labels (6) (full colour Elderflower Wine labels)
  • Hand Corking Tool (to put the corks in with)
  • Corks
  • Air Lock (to keep out wild yeast etc. whilst making it)
  • Sterlising Powder (to ensure everything is clean to start with!)
  • Easy to follow, instructions!
The process is simple: collect and trim the elderflowers, pour on boiling water and add sugar, then leave to cool. Strain into the gallon jar and add the other ingredients. Leave a couple of weeks then syphon it into the other one-gallon container, top up and wait! When ready, bottle and cork! (Full instructions included in the pack)
