Starter Kit - Equipment only

A complete kit of equipment, including bottles. Ready for use with any of our beer, lager or cider kits (just add whichever one you fancy to your shopping basket!)

This is an easy alternative to researching and choosing all the items of equipment separately, as it is not an 'off the shelf' pack, but has been put together from our stock items so you get just what you need rather than making compromises and wasting money on items you don't use or are inappropriate for the job.
We've looked at many 'standard' starter kits and found most are not ideal.
For example, many don't include bottles;
most have a syphon tube that is too short;
several include things you don't need;
some don't make a full 40 pints;
and we've found other shortcomings.

This kit includes:

• 5-gallon fermentation bin with lid (to make the brew)
• Hydrometer (to test when it's ready to bottle)
• Long reach stirrer (most household utensils aren't long enough!)
• Syphon tube (to get the beer from bin to bottles)
• Sterilising powder (to get everything really clean)
• 20 x 1 litre plastic re-usable bottles (with screw caps)
